Cirque du Soleil returns to Milan in 2027 with ECHO, the company's 20th Big Top show. The Milan run is announced for 5 May to 13 June 2027, under the Big Top in Sesto San Giovanni, in the Milan metropolitan area.

What happens in ECHO

At the centre of the story are FUTURE and her best friend Ewai the Dog. When the two of them come across an enigmatic CUBE, they set off on a journey about connection, discovery and the bond between people and the animal kingdom, joined by animal and human characters who work together to rebuild their world.

The show combines acrobatics, live music, stage design, lighting and large-scale projections, with the CUBE itself transforming as part of the set.

Practical details

ECHO lasts 125 minutes, including a 25-minute intermission. Cirque du Soleil describes it as a show for the whole family, and notes that it can include loud noises and some darker scenes.

The venue is the Big Top at Viale Italia 576, 20099 Sesto San Giovanni, on the northern edge of Milan.
