Cirque du Soleil returns to Milan in 2027 with ECHO, one of the company’s most ambitious Big Top productions. The Milan engagement begins on 6 May 2027 in Sesto San Giovanni and marks the European premiere of ECHO, making this Italian run particularly special for Cirque du Soleil fans.

Created as Cirque du Soleil’s 20th Big Top production, ECHO combines spectacular acrobatics, contemporary stage design, music, lighting and large-scale projections. At the centre of the story are FUTURE and her companion Ewai, whose discovery of a mysterious CUBE begins a journey exploring the relationship between humans, animals and the world around them.

One of ECHO’s most distinctive features is its enormous transforming CUBE, which becomes both part of the scenery and a platform for the performers. The production includes aerial performances, contortion, trapeze, banquine, Korean cradle and other acrobatic disciplines presented within a colourful and immersive theatrical setting.
