Giacomo Puccini‘s four-act opera La Bohème has been one of the most popular operas since its premiere in Turin in 1896, and is part of the standard repertoire of many opera houses. The opera took place in Paris around 1830. La Scala offers the classics of La Bohème. The opera premiered in Milan in 1963, conducted by Herbert von Karajan. On one Christmas Eve in Paris, writer Rudolph and painter Marcelo sat in front of a cold stove, hungry and cold. The philosopher Colin went home in a bad mood. Only the musician Shonard made a little money and used it to buy wine and firewood. They want to spend Christmas Eve at Café Momus. When someone knocked on the door, Rudolph had an article to finish. Tailor Mimi wants candle light. Mimi stayed and Rudolph fell in love with the seamstress. Rudolph takes Mimi to Moms Cafe.The little bagpipes are there too. Marcello’s old friend sends off her rich lover and ensnares her ex-lover, Marcello.

Marcello and Musetta frequently quarrel, and Rodolfo and Mimi are on the verge of separation. Mimi is unhappy and terminally ill.

A few months later, Rudolph wants to see the terminally ill Mimi for the last time. Musetta drags Mimi upstairs to the apartment where Marcello and Rodolfo work. To help the sick Mimi, the friends sell their belongings, and only Rudolph stays with Mimi, where she sings her love for Rudolph for the last time. When the friends came back with presents, Mimi died.
