Leading the cast, Klaus Florian Vogt embodies Siegfried with his signature heroic clarity, while Camilla Nylund returns as Brünnhilde, delivering one of Wagner’s most demanding and emotionally charged roles. The formidable Günther Groissböck gives depth and darkness to Hagen, joined by Russell Braun as Gunther and the incomparable Nina Stemme as Waltraute. Completing the stellar ensemble are Olga Bezsmertna, Szilvia Vörös, Christa Mayer, and the trio of Rhinemaidens — Lea-ann Dunbar, Svetlina Stoyanova, and Virginie Verrez — adding brilliance and texture to this monumental production.
With this grand finale, La Scala completes two full Ring cycles — a rare event in the world of opera — reaffirming Wagner’s masterpiece as a cornerstone of Western culture.
