Fabrique: a converted warehouse in Milan's Mecenate district

Fabrique opened on 18 September 2014 in a former records warehouse on Via Fantoli, in the Mecenate district of south-east Milan, not far from Linate airport. Its industrial shell — high ceilings, exposed structure, a wide open floor — was refitted as a mid-size live venue, and it has become one of the city's key rooms for international tours that have outgrown clubs but do not yet fill arenas. The modular space handles roughly 200 to 3,000 people depending on configuration, and the calendar mixes rock, pop, hip-hop and electronic shows with club nights and private events.

Most concerts at Fabrique are general admission, with a large standing floor facing the stage. Because the room is modular, capacity and layout shift from show to show, and some productions add reserved or seated sections, so check the ticket type before buying. For bigger tours, queues form early on Via Fantoli for a spot at the barrier.

Fabrique is at Via Fantoli 9 in the Mecenate area. Tram 27 runs from the city centre to Via Mecenate, about a ten-minute walk away, and bus lines including 45, 66 and 88 stop close by — the nearest stop, Via Fantoli/Via Mecenate, is a minute on foot. There is no metro station within easy walking distance, so tram 27 plus a short walk is the standard public-transport route; after late shows, taxis and ride-hailing are the practical way back to the centre.
