Co-produced with the Royal Ballet, London, and the National Ballet of Canada, the production originally premiered at the Royal Opera House, London, on February 28, 2011. The ballet features Wheeldon’s innovative choreography set to Joby Talbot’s music, orchestrated by Christopher Austin and Joby Talbot, creating a vibrant and whimsical soundscape.

The visual design immerses audiences in Wonderland: sets and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Natasha Katz, and projections by Jon Driscoll & Gemma Carrington bring Lewis Carroll’s fantastical universe to life, while the libretto by Nicholas Wright guides the storytelling with wit and charm. Koen Kessels conducts the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, ensuring a flawless musical experience.
