Ludovico Maria Enrico Einaudi is an Italian pianist and composer. Einaudi was trained at the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan and began his career as a classical composer, which later incorporated other styles and genres such as pop, rock, folk and world music.

Einaudi has produced soundtracks for many films and TV works, including “This Is England”, “Intouchables”, “I’m Still Here”, the TV miniseries Dr. Zhivago and Acquario (1996), for which he won the Grolla d’oro Awards. He has also released many solo albums of pianos and other instruments, especially I Giorni in 2001, Nightbook in 2009 and In TimeLapse in 2013.
